Lauren and Garrison had such a heartwarming wedding day at Oakwood Country Club
Lauren and Garrison held their wedding and reception at the beautiful Oakwood Country Club. Being a wedding planner herself, the bride put so much thought and effort in to every element. I’m so happy for Lauren and Garrison!
Personal Touch
The couple’s envelope liner was a beautiful watercolor rendering of their wedding venue. The bride hand tore her own papers and tied each ribbon by hand. Guests were treated to hand written notes and place cards.
After final styling was complete, The couple each chose put on the final touches with just parents or siblings. I love taking a little time away from the hustle bustle of the day for a few sweet “final” moments before the first look.

First Look
The couple used the time during their first look to privately exchange their vows under the midday sun during the peak of golden fall colors. I simply can’t get over the warmth and glow of the light!
I DO
Sun poured in, guests looked on lovingly, happy tears and smiles filled the room. The bride’s father officiated, making this extra special!
Dress Change
The bride changed into her reception dress and the couple had a few portraits taken alone while their reception room was being prepared.
After a perfectly plated dinner, toasts, and their first dance as husband and wife, Lauren and Garrison spend the evening dancing the night away with their guests.
